A few years ago we discovered that a lot of people thought that the building was unused, because whenever they saw it there was nothing going on. As a result we started Open Doors, which has now been running for several years.
Open Doors runs every Monday, from 10.00am to 1.15pm. We open the doors and give a welcome to all who come in. We offer free cups of tea and coffee, a place to sit, a place to talk if wanted. We don’t offer a set programme, but some will read the newspaper, some may engage in doing a jigsaw, or playing a game. People are free to come at any time, and to stay for as long as they want.
